Cons:
Difficult to Use

Comments about Stackhouse Econo Wheel (DISCO: 10/17/2005):

The inversion chair works well. one issue I had being the brake/latch release being so far outside the chair. I had to modify mine so I could use it much more easily and comfortably.
The usage of the product is not the clearest, a bit brief and underwritten. all in all with a few minor flaws(to me) I do like the chair and use it twice if not a few times a day. thank you and I hope it helps me

Comments about Stackhouse Econo Wheel (DISCO: 10/17/2005):

I am a retired ballet dancer and use the bar to stay in shape with ballet excercises, stretching, and strength workouts. The bar is sturdy and compact, which is good, but the pieces of the bar don't screw into place fully so when sliding your leg on the bar for stretches, you have to be carefuly because the seam isn't flush and can scratch and pinch. Also, raising and lowering the bar can be difficult by yourself. Other than that, it was a good purchase for the money.

Health Mark Pro Inversion Chair
By DGOVerified Purchaser from Georgetown, TX on 10/23/2008
Pros:
Durable, Easy to Use, Lightweight, Sturdy

Comments about Stackhouse Econo Wheel (DISCO: 10/17/2005):

We have had the chair (I affectionately refer to it as "the rack") for almost four weeks. I have two bulging discs (L4/5) and my wife has had back surgery. Both of us are in our mid 60s and in good health for the most part.

My wife absolutely loves the chair and uses it twice daily with no problem at all. I use it once daily (four minutes) and can say that it has helped my upper body flexibility and seems to have aided in my lower back as well (the jury is out on that one for now). I am so inflexible that it used to be impossible for me to lay my head on the back of the chair when we started. Now I can, although it is a bit of an effort. Still, it is a big improvement.

I recommend this to others who have similar problems with their backs or flexibility.

Service & Delivery comments:

Our chair was delivered well within the time the web site said it would be. It arrived in good shape and my wife put it together (I was playing gold, how's that for timing!). We used it that day and have continued to since its' arrival.

I am in Law Enforcement, all of the equipment we carry around our waist takes a toll on the back. Within the first week of using the inversion table I noticed a huge improvement with my lower back. My wife has even started using it. The only thing my wife and I don't like is our ankles start getting sore after a few minutes on the table, the padding could be a little better. Wear shoes or boots, it helps a little. Overall still recommended.

Comments about Stackhouse Econo Wheel (DISCO: 10/17/2005):

This product was very easy to put together and easy to use. My husband was having intolerable back pain from a surgery that he had 5 years ago. He started using it and 2 days later he was able to sleep at night. Now 4 weeks later he can bend over to pick things up off the floor and pick our newborn daughter up out of her bouncy seat without feeling like he might drop her if his back catches. He uses it in the morning and the evening. He started inverting himself for 1 minute at a time and has now worked up to 5 minutes. It has inspired me to use it even if I don't have back pain. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is heavy and not too easy to fold up into the compact form for storage so it takes up a lot of space in my living room. I can deal with that though because of the huge benifit it has given my husband. He is a lot less miserable and it has made mine and my families life a lot easier. It has made his quality of life better in just a few short weeks. I can't imagine what it will do over a lifetime. Thank-you so much!!

just before bedtime. I have demonstrated the table
to my friends, so when I say "I'm going to hang myself tonight" they all know what I'm talking about. After my session I can sleep almost pain
free and feel rested and can maintain my active life style. The only drawback I found is having to watch tv upsidedown.

Although the benefit of using the chair for back neck and shoulder pain cannot be overstated!!! I have had a few problems with the handle and switching from one level to another. At one time I got stuck upside down and the lever would not release so I could get back up I had to slide to the floor from the upside down position. Also for my leg length from the knee to the ankle that the ankle lock is not lenght adjustable causes me to forgo using the ankle lock and just use the leg strap. But over all this chair has changed life for both my husband and I in that we have significatly less pain now that we have the chair.[...]

Comments about Stackhouse Econo Wheel (DISCO: 10/17/2005):

Can't get better equipment in inversion therapy regardless of cost. Any additional features that other makes offer are unnecessary and distracting from the very purpose of applying inversion in body alignment.
My wife and myself in our mid/late 70s and find the Calm inv.table an invaluable asset in our home gym room, helping our spinal condition in great shape. Prior to having the Calm Inversion Table we both endured age related minor, but nagging lumbar area discomfort.
The condition we both had were diagnosed by physicians and we both could have faced eventual invasive surgery but they also offered an alternative, i.e. inversion therapy. My wife was treated by a series of such sessions at the price of well over what we could efford as retirees.
We turned our attention to commercially available system.
The Edtor's Choice Calm table seemed like the best for us. We'll never ever regret the choice along with its extremely reasonable price tag.
Thank you.

All you need is gradual spinal decompression, and this will do it just fine. There's really no need to spend a lot more, unless you just want to buy the so-called "best".

It's easy to increase the tilt, easy to adjust height, easy to lock in feet, and for the 10 to 15 minutes it'll be used, it's comfortable enough. The padding around the ankle area sold me, for comfort, and I'm pleased with it.

Solidly built table, easy to use but difficult to assemble due to instructions in German. Bare in mine that the table requires complete assembly. Appx 2 hours for one with experience in assembly. Foot locking mechanism may be slightly painful if completely inverted 180 degrees. Also a little difficult to pull yourself from a free hanging position back onto the table. Only reason there isn't five star is due to ease of assembly and lack of portability.

Comments about Stackhouse Econo Wheel (DISCO: 10/17/2005):

This is a great inversion table. I was a little skeptical about buying an inversion table at this price because I didn't want to get something cheeply made. But it has turned out to be a durable well made machine. Im satisfied!

Comments about Stackhouse Econo Wheel (DISCO: 10/17/2005):

I had bad back and neck problems for a long time. Ever since I got the table 4 months ago, I felt the pain go away the first time I used it. Now I sleep better and the hurt is gone. 5 minutes every other day keeps the chiropracter away.
