As others have stated, the directions and parts list don't match but it's a no brainer once you start assembling it. I was skeptical of the pain relief claims but was desperate to try something to help my chronic back problems. After only a week of using it I'm impressed with the results. Just get dizzy and light headed hanging upside down for long periods. Maybe I'll get used to it?

Excellent. I love it. Total relaxation and stretchng of the back and spine. I herniated a disc and have spinal stenosis. Therapy daily with spinal decompression and then 10-15 minutes 4 times per day on this table and I am nearly back to myself in 3 weeks. Incredible value...[...]

Assembly was fairly easy. Operates as advertised. The back/suspension system is lacking. It can not be tightened enough to prevent bumping up against the cross-bar, so they have glued on a thick high-density foam pad. This pad sticks into your back instead of the bar, but both are fairly uncomfortable. I am ripping off the pad and replacing it with a 12" piece of plywood with foam padding. May not be a problem for everyone. I am 6" tall.

Got this for my wife who has severe back problems, but I've been using it as well and noticed I feel much better after using it. I've even been doing inverted sit-ups with it and see a great difference in stomach strength compared to regular crunches and such. It has definitely helped my wife with her back pain even in the short time we've had it.
This is extremely comfortable to use with great ankle support; both of us use it in our bare feet and never feel like our ankles are strained or hurt after using it.

I decided to purchase this model based on the high reviews it had already received combined with affordability. I had not ever tried an inversion table. It was easy to put together. I had it built and working in less than an hour. That could have been shortened had I not discovered the parts and diagram provided did not correspond with the instruction book. After I studied on it for a while, common sense dictated what parts should go where. The parts vs instruction issue may not be the case with all of the tables but it was with mine. Still an easy build, easy to move, easy to use. I like to use it like a horizontal swing, so to speak, teetering back and forth with gravity pulling on my feet and head. Feels so relaxing. I also balance horizontally and do "situps" keeping the board balanced. Easy but effective situps. I really bought it for my husband who is experiencing some damage to vertebrae in his neck which results in pain in his arm. This alleviates that issue and he actually uses it daily. I am glad I bought it and will highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable inversion table. I had no idea how relaxing they can be.

Had been suffering from severe lower back pain for several months. Someone recommended that I try inversion. This product was rated well and was reasonable in cost so I thought I'd try it out. It relieved my pain on the first use. I was very surprised. Still have the pain but inversion has provided a lot of relief. I use twice a day for 5-10 minutes. Will keep using it even if the pain goes completely.

I use the inversion table to re-align my spine. It relieves the tension in my back.
The only downer is the assembly instruction pictures didn't match the hardware I had but I did eventually figure it out and my table works fine.

It was a little confusing to put it together but once it was assembled, and I tried it, I found that it really does help my back condition. It made me feel like I was being stretched like a piece of taffy in which it loosened up my back and then my back was cracking all day. It eases some of the back pain and is worth the money. Note, come up slow so you don't get too dizzy.

The unit was easy to assemble however I was missed two bolts-nut-washer units. However, this was not a problem as the item was easily obtained from the local hardware store. Also, after three weeks of use the self-adjusting foot rest/anchor broke. However, although aggravating this was an easy fix as one of the springs was not in correct position. Overall, I am satisfied.

It was fairly easy to assemble, which was surprizing after reading reviews for other inversion tables. The feet\ankle holders are probably better than some other brands we looked at but it doesn't take long before your feet become uncomfortable and the spring for the foot catch is messed up, probably b\c it was pulled out to far. It is still early for me but I believe is is helping my back pain. I'm not so sure yet about neck pain yet. Definately worth the money.

I use the product daily, usually first thing in the morning to stretch and usually again in the afternoon. The set up was so easy and it is very easy to adjust the height for different people to use. This was an overall great experience. I had done a little research online and then decided to call and speak with a rep to ask why there are some inversion tables for $130 all the way up to $1200. Basically they all do the same thing, just made of different materials. I opted for the lower price, I figured they all invert and that was what I was looking for. [...] it was easy to put toghether and I was able to use it right away. Even my 11yr old stepson and 5yr old niece got on it with no problems. I have spent lots of money on the chiropractor and massages but my back would hurt again within a day or so. With an inversion table I can do as much therapy as often as I'd like and the cost equals just 2 massages and a trip to the chiro so it's paid for itself by now. It feels so cool to hang upside down, just like a ride on the Gravitron at the fair!

I have a back that only a doctor could love: pretty much everything is going wrong, including 4 thoracic vertebrae that are freezing up (ankylosing) over time. In the first few seconds of using this product -- even before I got all the way down -- I could feel the stretch in just the right place. After 2 minutes, I got off, stood up, and had good posture that nearly took my wife's breath away. After two days, I got motion in my mid back, and stretching in my low back. After less than a week, I can twist at the waist, and I can actually move my back like other people. Weird pains that would arise for no reason have not come back. Why did I wait so long to get an inversion table?This product is exactly as you've heard: comfortable, easy to use, sturdy, effective. [...] The only down side is the cheap tools that the manufacturer includes. Bring your socket wrench and an adjustable wrench, and set up should be about 1/2 hour.I use this thing twice a day, for only about one minute at a time. And that's MORE than enough! I've showed it to other family and friends, and one even ordered one right afterwards!Just saw similar ones in a used sporting goods store. Most were $100 more, the cheapest all of $10 less, for a used unit (that didn't look as sturdy anyway).Don't hesitate. But this today!

This is an awesome inversion table. The first two days that I have used it since I put it together my back is not hurting in 5 months. For improvements this piece of equipment could use something different besides the nylon strap to adjust, to me this would be the biggest improvement. Also the handle grips slide. The biggest complaint I have is that I had to drill some holes into the heel holder rod and boom in order to get the bolt to line up with the hole. That is why I am giving it a 4 out of a 5.

The thing that isn't great about this product is the spring loaded pull pin for locking your feet in should have a washer or something to hold it secure. I have had to fix this several times. The spring continues to work its way over the stops on the pin and ends up down in the hole on the adjuster tube. Can be very frustrating!!

the height adjustment should actually be adjusted according to one's weight. If one is overweight, then the height adjustment needs to be set to a slightly higher setting than one's actual height in order to achieve perfect balance of the table and the ablility to easily return to an upright position.
I have recommended this product to others and two friends have already purchased the unit.

This table is great. It took about an hour and a half to assemble though... longer than i thought. it helps my back a lot to use it though, and am glad for the purchase. One very big downside is that it is very large, even when in "storage" position. Still can't find a place for it in my apt, so its been in my living room for a month now.

Have had sciatica for over a year. Had injections and did physical therapy. Primary physician recommended inversion table, and it is really helping. When the pain gets bad, I can use the table for almost instant relief. User manual needs to be rewritten and parts better labeled, but a friend and I got it together in about an hour. [...]

I bought a "name brand hang up table" about 5 years ago for medical reasons. I have lower disc and hip problems. Without the use of my inversion table, I can barely walk. I use it religiously about 5 times a day.
We experienced a house fire and it was destroyed. My wife did a lot of research and we decided upon the "Sunny" inversion table.
I am very pleased! It was about half the price as my other unit and works just as well!
If the need comes up again, or if, in the course of any conversation, I never fail to mention the "Sunny" table.
Great product and definitely well worth the price!

The only problem was a few of the screws were not right but I was able to use them anyway. Spent and extra .25 on 2 lock nuts. I have a bad right foot so there was pain when fully inverted because all of your weight is on your foot. This seems to subside once your feet get used to it. Very easy to use and set up. The price was excellent and arrived quicker than expected. Probably not the most comfortable of all inversion tables but comfortable enough and it does it's job. Really happy I made the purchase.

Took about 40 minutes to put together (best to use own tools, although it comes with some). Started using right away and noticed reduced pain in back (sciatic nerve) and neck. Use is every morning before I exercise to stretch. Can also do crunches as the table "locks" when completely vertical. Solid build; feel safe and secure when inverted. Excellent quality for the price.

I was skeptical at first of the price but read some solid reviews of the Sunny Health inversion table and after comparing price and features with offerings at local sporting goods stores decided to pull the trigger on this product. Absolutely no regrets and quite impressed with the overall value. One of my siblings had purchased an inversion table from our local sporting good chain and paid about $100 more than what I paid for this unit and the difference between units were minimal. The Sunny Health product is smooth and balances well and everything functions as expected. The hand rails mount top and bottom and feel secure when pulling yourself up if needed. Assembly was very easy and even included crude tools to suffice as wrenches and a screwdriver. I would recommend that you use better quality tools than what is included in the package but you can fully assemble with just what comes with this package. Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend.
Delivery was on time and in great shape upon arrival.

This is the third inversion table that I have purchased and by far is the most economical to buy, the easiest and most secure to assemble, very compact to store and easy to move from one location to another.
Directions for assembly are very easy to follow and all parts are labeled so there are no confusion as to how to use them.
I did not pay anything for regular shipping and it came by FEDEX in 4 days from ordering, it was fantastic and came in perfect condition.

I used to own a Teeter Hangup and could easily have given this a 3 star rating in comparison. However, once you consider that this table costs 1/2 the price of a comparable Teeter, I decided to bump to a 4. If you want a top of the line, sturdy product, and have been using inversion for a while, go with the Teeter. However, if you are a beginner, or are willing to settle a bit on quality in order to save a ton of money, than this is your product. It does essentially the same thing as the Teeter, just isnt quite the same quality. If I had to make a comparison, I would say this is a Kia and the Teeter a BMW. They both will get you from point A to point B, but one will do so more comfortably and reliably. All in all, I am satisfied with my purchase. Hope that helps!

Before I got the inversion table I would wake up very early in the morning with lower back pain.Since using the table(and doing some small ab crunches while on it)I sleep much better and later(thank God)!My walking stride has improved as well as my overall posture.I highly recommend this product.It is a great value for the price.

You need your own tools to assemble. The tools that come with it are sad and would take forever. With a ratchet set, vise grips and a phillips screwdriver, it took right at 20 minutes to assemble.This thing is super easy to use. I have bad lower back problems from time to time. I had a dull pain for days that felt like I needed to pop or crack my lower back but couldn't because of the pain it would cause. 10 minutes after assembling this and hanging like Batman upside down and free from the bed, the bottom of my spine decompressed and cracked. I hung there and laughed because it felt so good. I will be using this in the morning and evening and I'm also going to look up some exercises on the internet. The price is great. [...]My only regret is not buying it sooner :)

This was a X-Mas gift. Great stretch but I have degenerated discs in my back & sometimes it feels good & sometimes not. I still need surgery to fix my back... but this is great for a spine stretch. It takes a few times to get used to shifting upside down & hanging by your anckles... though the padded ankle lock does feel very secure.

I haven't had the table long enough to tell if it is really helping with my back pain yet. I will say though that I love being able to do sit ups on it. The table is very comfortable. After reading several reviews, I was worried that it would hurt my ankles, but it doesn't not in the least little bit. I would definitely recommend this table. Great table at a great price.

Home user of the product. Affordable, smooth operation, comfortable. It has worked every time my back seems to act up, I hop on the Sunny Inversion table and feel so much better after.
Delivery was a day ahead of expected date told, that was a bonus. However, the box was severely damaged and I was worried about the product. Everything seemed fine but a piece was chipped that didn't make a difference to the product itself.

[...] Instructions were easy to follow and kit included some simple tools to help with the process. Although it was well thought out to include these tools, my own toolbox made the assembly job much easier. Although I could have assembled the product myself with moderate effort with the tools supplied, I found assembly a breeze with my own tool box and my 10 year old son's help. Total assembly time was 20 minutes. Once assembled, the product worked as advertised. Adjusting the product to one's own height is easy and the back support is comfortable to use. This product does not seem to be appropriate for very tall people, though. I am 6" and it is fine. The feel when one gets on is of sturdiness. I did not have concerns over the stability of the product. Operational flow was quite smooth and the adjustable strap does an excellent job of restricting or allowing the desired range of motion. If properly balanced to one's height, rotating back to an upright position is relatively easy, some minimal arm strain. The only negative I found in the product is the front ankle cushion that cushions the adjustable front ankle bar while one uses the product. I found the ankle cushion insufficient and experienced some ankle pain in my initial use from the ankle bar, which was compressing my ankle joint though the cushion. I freely confess that I am a long time soccer player and have had many ankle sprains, so I may be more sesitive than some to this issue. Loosening the adjustable ankle bar and adding a towel relieved the compression and solved the problem.Summary: The product has performed as advertised providing for easy and generally confortable use at a fair price. I believe I obtained good value for the money I spent on this product and would purchase it again having experienced the product.

I have delt with a herniated disk (L5) for 26 years. The only therapy that worked on me then was an inversion table. If not for that it was surgery, which I did not want. I wish I had bought one years ago to relieve back pain from over doing it. I workout and stay in shape but sometimes that's not enough and the back goes.
This table works great, easy to adjust so the balance is prefect to invert yourself by raising your arms. It was easy to assemble (with my own tools) just made it quicker.
Inverting relieves muscle pain which comes from your muscles trying to protect your spinal cord.
It really works, so stop taking all the meds and try going after the cause. I know you will love it and wonder how you ever lived without it.

I've been diagnosed with scoliosis and have had lingering lower back pain for a few years. My doctor recommended decompression therapy, and this is doing it. Each time I get on, I feel myself gradually stretching out over the first 4 or 5 minutes. I'm 72, and I've shrunk 2 inches since college. I wonder if I'm going to grow it back!!

The white foam padding @ waist level I had to remove as that is the area my back is injured & the padding caused discomfort. I replaced the foam strip with three small throw pillows that padded the intire back area evenly, making it very comfortable.

Aside from the many spelling errors, the instructions need to be completely rewritten. The description of various bolts, screws does not match what is on the blister pack card. The handle for the screwdriver is not even identified. The page showing parts and part numbers is of such poor quality that it cannot even be read using a magnifier. I looked all over in the packaging for a BELT, only to find that the spelling should have been BOLT.
Nevertheless, the product is an excellent value.

The white foam padding had to go. It was most uncomfortable as I have issues at L4/L5. I replaced the strip with three small throw pillows which filled the entire back support area, making it very comfortable. Don'know why they didn't do that to start with.

I have diabetes. I need to work out every day. My job allows me to walk twice a week for several miles. THis is stressful on my feet and hip joint. I try to rest my feet the rest of the week. I go to a fitness center twice a week, but this does not help my sore feet. I use the inversion machine to get off my feet and exercise any time I want to. I only invert to 50 degrees. This allows me to free my ankles and do running in place and other leg exercises. This requires an additional Pad to ease the uncomfortable fit of the table. What else could you want in an inversion table? You get in it, flip over, and hang. I'm 240 lbs and it feels completely stable, even on my carpeted floor. The large, rounded handles mean that you can easily get up from any angle, the adjustable strap allows you to invert to any angle, and if you want to do exercises, the table locks in place at the bottom. Quick disassembly and folding means it can be stored easily, although you'll need about 14" of clearance on account of the rounded handles, so under a bed or in a small closet might be tough.
For the $, it has all the convenience and comfort and relief (I feel like I just left my chiropractor's office) you'd need without feeling like you over spent for some simple folding metal frame, canvas, and plastic.

My husband has Kyphosis (sort of like scoliosis) and he works construction so his back gets very sore. He can't sleep right and is always in pain. SO far for the last 2 weeks he has been in hardly any pain, he has been sleeping better, and even I used it! It really works wonders and I think will save him from his back pain. THe only bad thing is that we live in a small place and it doesn't store easily. I think it is worth it though!

I use it everynight to eliviate the stress that builds in my shoulders during the day at work. I also use it to do situps as it is great for working both the upper & lower abdominals at the same time.
I have also noticed that I don't have near the amount of back pain that I had prior to using it.
My only complaints would be that the strap that holds it in position doesn't always hold you in place especially while you are moving. The only other complaint I have is that the part you step on to lock it into place is not padded & not adjustable so it makes it hard to get your ankles in the right position to lock it into place.
Delivered a day early which was great. The box was damaged but the product itself was not harmed.

This was given to me from my husband. He got it for me because i have bulging disc and am trying to avoid surgery at this time. The first time I used it I felt a bit of discomfort more on my left side the side that I seem to have most of my problem on but, the discomfort made me feel better the next day. I guess the only thing I would change is to add a way to lock it in place when inverted so it could be used for sit-ups/exercise too. I assume that option is on pricier models though. Oh, and make the padding around where it holds your feet a little cushier. Overall a good buy.

The table works fine for it's price although I had to install chains for the strap adjuster since it would automatically go to the full tilt position every time I layed bach in it. Also the heel holder should be paded for more comfort.

I think these tables are a good idea in general, and although I've only been using the table over a week, I think it's helping my "always present" lower back pain.
Many reviews complain about discomfort on the ankles or feet, and I see what they are saying, but I have to ask you "how do you hang 90+% of your body's weight by your feet and be perfectly comfortable? lets not forget to mention that alot of us could stand to shed some of that weight "including myself" wich would lessen the discomfort on the feet/ankles. I am a snowboarder and I use my snowboarding boots wich have alot of support and they help alot.

I use it daily since I blew out a disc in my lower back. Only problem I found wes the adjustable strap was very flimsy and would not stay where it was put. So I just removed it and got a small chain and put the holders in which ever link that was comfortable and it worked fine. Great for stretching out my back, which I've had problems with for 25 years. After a week, my back is 70-80% better; I'm hoping it will continue to improve. i use this product twice a day, in the morning 1st thing to loosen up, and at night when i get home after standing on my feet all day,very refreshing, it was easy to put together, once i realised to start 1/2 way through the manual, the tools that came with it were not very good, but with my husbands good tools it was very easy to tighten up the machine,the DVD explained well and after one adjustment using the sunshine was a breeze, i compared the price and performance comments on line and this was the same ratings as the more expensive versions, its not the cheapest but an excellent value ,it does for me what i wanted it to do,
the only negative i found was a bit uncomfortable across the main back bar piece of the equipment a bit more padding is needed in this area,so i use a small pillow to compensate, and it works just fine, I'm very happy with my purchase,

Once I started using the Inversion table my back stopped hurting. When it feels like it is going to start hurting, I just hang for awhile and my back gets better. It is also relaxing.

If you want a well made table to get yourself upsidown fast without breaking the bank then this is the one for you. If you're on the heavier side like me full inversion can cause some slight discomfort to the feet you are hanging by but it's not unbearable. This table will hold up to 300 lbs. without a wiggle wobble or worry. Assembly is easy. The frame is welded heavy guage metal (Steel I think but may some aluminium too - all strong) but some of the smaller plastic fitting can be fragile. I had to do some minor repairs with glue and tape out of the box on one plastic fitting part that broke in shipment but it was not a deal killer. I am very happy with my purchase and alreay feeling the benefits of inversion after three days.

You just can't beat this for the price. Hubby has back pain, and is out of town working alot lately, so has only gotten to use it sporadically, yet he's already felt some relief. Easy set-up as most of the parts are put together. However I do very very highly recommend before climbing on this table that you head to your local hardware store and buy two heavier D clips. The ones that come with the machine that stop you at your own set angle will break or straighten out. I found out five minutes after I climbed on. (You cannot defecate upside down in this machine!!!)
The footholders need a hair bit more work on them as well. They are a little hard on the tops of the feet but I put some black pipe insulation on the poles to make it more comfortable.
I use it 10 mins in the morning doing mini crunches and fifteen in the afternoon either relaxing or mini crunches. I plan on bumping it up 5 more minutes each week until I reach 30 in the afternoon.
The first few days I used it my hips was sore from the stretched muscles in it. I do recommend it for peeps with stiff backs and twisted backs as I call them. It will definateley straighten you up and make you feel worlds better.

I broke my back or rather compressed three vertebrae in a two-story fall several years ago. I have had to take pain pills on a regular basis for the past 14 years. This machine didn't eliminate all the medication in only the two weeks I have owned it but it has greatly reduced the amount of medication I require. I hope it continues to assist in the reduction and hopefully does eventually eliminate of all the pain (and medication requirements) with continued use over the next several months. I'm realistic and know that success sometimes comes in small doses and, so far that train of thought has held true for me.

I use it everytime I feel my back beginning to ache and the ache goes away. I've only had the inversion table for 1 week and I already feel so much or better.
For me the best thing about this is that I've been in a lot of pain for years and I am finally feeling better!!!
The only thing that is not so great about the table is the ankle holders - they are a little uncomfortable, that is my only complaint. I use it for back and neck problems. Also my joints in my legs feel better too!!

I purchased the inversion table because of back problems. I received it 3 days ago, assembled it in about 45 minutes and tried it out. It was pretty much what I expected, as I previously (20 years ago) owned an inversion table. As my back problem is of multiple herniations and bulges in the lumbar section I am approaching the use of the table slowly and cautiously so as not to aggravate the situation. Time will tell.

I put my unit together just after I got it, hopped on and inverted to 90 deg. After about 30seconds felt a hard "pop"in my back and the pain I suffered for more than 30 years was gone. The doctors wanted to cut on my back,electric stimulation every thing but said my spine was too close to even get a needle in.Best money I ever spent.

I know my pros & cons contradict eachother, let me explain.
comfort: The machine is very comfortable, it is the ankle support that needs improvement. I wore my boots thinking that would help, but the only thing that helps is time (getting used to it). I hang at an angle, not upside down yet, this helps.
easy storage: I don't think the term easy storage can apply to any model of this machine. It is big and heavy. When I take it down, I put the base in the hallway closet and the part that you lay on behind the couch. It won't all fit behind the couch only because of the handles. I thought about taking them off, but they are nice to have.
easy to adjust: this is kind of upsetting, I will have to find a way to work around this. Between me, my husband and our children, we all have different settings. The way you set it is by a strap & strap lock. First of all, the strap lock does not work well, I have been hanging and then the strap slips and I am upside down. So I have to double loop the strap through the strap lock. This makes adjusting more difficult.
noise: It is quiet if you are just laying there, but if you want to do some stretching or moving while laying on it, the fabric that the back is made out of makes noise when rubbing against the frame. After everyone goes to bed at night, I sometimes use it, but feel bad because I know the noise is heard even in the bedrooms.
Overall, good purchase, I am glad I bought this product.

I like the product because it is easy to use and set up.
The only thing about the product is that I do my stretching in shorts and bare feet so the foot peg on the bottom of the mount is narrow and hard so it hurts the bottom of my feet.

I'm a 59yo contractor and I've beat myself up over the years with my job. I've had it and used it daily for over a week now. My back is much better for it. I use it 2 sometimes 3 times a day. I was surprised to find my knees feel better now too. It set up easily, but the use instructions were a little sparse. They at least tell you to take your time and ease into it slowly. My only problem with it is that it hurts my ankles after about 5min inverted. Don't know if it's the machine or my ankles. Maybe I'll just stop at 5min, and add another session or 2.

the roll around hand bars made this my choice so as to add more control to my workout, if i want to stop myself and slowly adjust, i can or if i want to pull myself to a mid way level the hand bars are located right where you need them.The bad thing is they dont allow the unit to fold flat. BUT HAVING THEM IS A PLUS.

I purchased this unit because it got good reviews and did not want to pay $300.00 for an inversion table. It took literally 30-40 minutes to assemble. Only because the manual did not provide great illustrations. Once I figured it out it was not difficult at all. I have never used an inversion table before so I have nothing to compare it to. But the first night I used it I felt like I had gone to the chiropractor. You can literally feel the stess evaporate from your spine. I did experience a bit of ankle pain but it seems to get less and less each time I use it. If you follow the directions for use it seems to work well. My wife tried it and swears it has helped some shoulder pain issues. [...] "thumbs up" to The Sunny Inversion table!
